Lloret Bars Update

With only a few days to go for Easter Lloret is just about ready for the summer season. Walking around this morning the bars and restaurants are now preparing to open their doors, many for the first time since before Christmas! As from this Sunday 1st April the Rob Roy Tavern will be open from 1pm till late. Just around the corner the Funky Monkey will also be open for the new season as from Sunday.

El Pub, St Patrick's Day

 Call into El Pub this week end and get your free hat for St Patrick's day when you buy 2 Guinness. The six nations rugby England v Ireland shown on TV 17th March @ 6pm
Food served all day long, such a change from the hotel stuff!

Beach Club - 80s Music

For all 80s music lovers a special event is taking place at the Beach Club in Lloret this Saturday 17th March, open midnight till 6am entrance is free!
You can find the Beach Club just across the street from the Texas Bistro and right next door to Rockefellers, should be a good night and morning!

Zoo Disco Lloret

Word just in from one of the biggest and most popular clubs in town...Zoo Disco will reopen this Friday 16th March 9pm - 3am, its all happening now I think the summer season is here!

Lloret's Nightclubs

The first of this years tours by the young night clubbers will soon be arriving in Lloret, 23rd March is the date Sporjoven the Portugese company will bring hundreds of students to town for their week long stay.....and Lloret will once again have that familiar buzz to the place! 

All the big nightclubs will now be opening for the summer as Lloret is always a favourite destination for many of these tours which take place at the start of every season.

Sportsman, due to open soon !

Latest news today comes from one of Lloret's most popular British bars the Sportsman ... after closing for their winter break at the end of January the bar will reopen on 24th March.

So that's good news for all sports fans visiting Lloret as all the best games will be shown live on TV, whatever your team its sure to be screened here! Just check the boards outside.

Route 66 - Lloret

Route 66 are due to open later this month after their winter break - March 30th, and I cant tell you how much we have missed just nipping down there for breakfast or an afternoon meal if I didnt feel like cooking! This is one of the best places in Lloret to get an English breakfast, but not only that the menu is so different to the normal run of the mill menu...the food is always nicely presented and really appetising!
I know what my first meal will be 'loaded potato skins and salad' !!

Lloret bars are now opening

Lloret is slowly but surely coming out of hibernation!
Hotels which have been closed all winter are now preparing to open their doors. The all inclusive hotels Royal Beach and Royal Star are now open, so with that a few other businesses are now opening for the start of the new summer season. Roxy's fast food and restaurant opposite the Royal Beach opened last week, and El Torito bodega in Lloret's busy nightlife area is now open Friday and Saturday evenings but will be open daily on or about 23rd March. Other bars in Lloret will also be back in business very shortly. The Funky Monkey will be waking up with a brand new look after a makeover to give it a much brighter appearance!
