UPDATE October 2012.
I, a good friend of the owner have visited the Robin Hood Pub just this week. I MUST SAY THE TOTAL OVERHAUL OF THE PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY IMPRESSIVE. 

It's not open yet, but looking at the total and the current status, the place WILL BE reopened. The changes are too large and too great not to reopen the place. Changes to the floor, ceiling, additional emergency exits, disabled persons access, fire regulations, all has been taken care off, 
Assembling the interior is the upcomming step.

The owner is currently considering WHEN exactly the GREAT REOPENING will take place. BUT don't worry, it will HAPPEN!

Robin Hood pub in Fenals

This very popular bar in Fenals, Lloret de Mar which has been closed for quite a few months now still remains closed with no sign of opening any time in the near future. The Robin Hood was closed down last year owing to it needing a massive refurbishment to bring it upto legal requirements. After an inspection of the premises it was found that the ceiling height was too low so to remedy this the floor would have to be lowered and a fire escape would also have to be fitted. Work was started, but nothing has been done since well before Christmas. In Lloret we are now hearing that the pub may not open again owing to the huge costs of the necessary work...this will be a big blow for many of their regular customers which used to come and stay at the Royal Beach hotel just across the road!
