Good-bye to the Barretina

We said goodbye to the oldest bodega in Lloret the 'Barretina' on Sunday 30th Dec. Fiona has worked in the bar for 14 years helped by Gill for the last 8-9 years. It is possible that the Barretina will reopen under new management later in the year but sadly it will never be the same!

Barretina to close

Bodega Barretina the oldest bodega in Lloret de Mar is sadly to close! Fiona will be having a last night party on the 30th December.
I'm sure there will be a few tears on the night from Fiona and all her friends as they say good bye to the Barretina - where many a holidaymaker and local have woken up the next morning after a heavy nights drinking in the Barretina wondering just how many they had drunk the night before!
