I have news about Haken & Cathrine who ran the White Horse in Lloret. As many of you know they closed the bar before Christmas to take some time out to decide what they wanted to do, either open another bar in the Peniscola region of Spain or stay in Lloret. They've had a trip down there but it seems that its not worth trying with another business as its also very quiet down there as it is here at the moment. So as it stands now they have returned to Lloret but sadly may be going back to Sweden. It will be a shame for all their friends in Lloret to lose them as they are a lovely couple....we all wish them success in whatever they choose to do!

What a shame they are going back to Sweden they really loved lloret. we visit lloret 2 or 3 times a year and always called in the white horse pub to see haken and cathrine good luck to them :-))
I can only agree, we miss them when we are in Lloret.
